I know this is a pretty general topic, but I want to know, in general, who is the most reliable gun manufactures where money is not an issue.

The top brands would probably be WA and TM. KWA and KSC are also good manufacturers, and their new NS2/System 7 guns are some of the best for colder weather.

It all depends on which model you want in specific. No brand has 100% in every variant. WA 1911's are tits, but their M9 series blows for example.

Any gas gun can be a great one.. You just have to remember to properly maintain them. Non-Blow backs are a bit easier, less external moving parts, but they still need to be kept up with.
I had a KWA Glock G18c.. Pretty solid gun, never had any problems.. Kept it properly lubricated and cleaned and it never failed me. I also own a HFC Mauser (NBB-GR), never had any issues with it either.. Seems most of the problems with gas guns are the mags, leaking.
Of course, results very with each gun. Mine may work perfect, yours could break after the first outing...

KWA is the best and low maintenance. Price is reasonable and NS2. TM, KSC and WA are great but a little harder to find stateside and cost a lot more.

Don't vomit out information without facts and figures to back them up. KWA is one of the bastard step-children of the GBB world. Sure it might be cute enough to take home, maybe even meet the folks... but I wouldn't trust it to last. Even their PTP line has had it's issues, just as BnB about the M9's that broke down after a few rounds because a piece of the pot-metal internals broke inside the gun, locking up the slide with the barrel.

This. As others have said, there is no one "best" brand. There are certain brands that outperform other brands when you compare specific models of pistols, but thats the closest you're going to come to finding a "best" manufacturer.

Its all about what kind of gun you want and how comfortable you are with it. Personally I like KJW but a ton of people hate it. I maintain them properly and they never fail me. Ive also had a KWA PTP and loved it along with a Maruzen.
There is no best or worst brand of gas blow back however, there are definitely pros and cons to each manufacturers model of a certain pistol.

A good GBB in my opinion is one you can get replacement parts for, because they will break. WA, TM, and KSC are all known for replacement parts and accessories.

Very well said Livonia. I am in complete agreement.
Unfortunately that is one of the sad truths of our beloved sport. Airsoft replicas, no matter what brand, are not known to be extremely reliable. There are brands that last way longer than others, but sooner or later a component will break, forcing you to have to replace that component or get a new gun.
You should also take into consideration the type of replica you are getting. For example, there are tons of replacement parts for M9's, 1911's, and Glocks. But if you get, lets say a P99, there are a lot less replacement parts out there.

KWA is a pretty legit brand of airsoft guns. I own the KWA MP7 and it's TITz but I understand the confusion with KWA and KSC but by no means KWA is a bastard child of them. KWA OEMs a lot of KSC guns, so a lot of their products are similar but their gas systems are different and tailored to different markets. And on the plus side you can get good support on KWA guns here in the states. And the make a kick ass line of AEGs so calling them a bastard love-child is really understating their quality. of course some of their shit breaks down but you can always get a replacement part from their support center and pro shop, and that is just not possible with most brands, I mean you can get aftermarket parts for other brands but sometimes after market parts are unavailable. With KWA you can get stock replacement parts stateside. And with the Japan brands one of the main reason they are so expensive is the fact that a lot of foreign companies OEM for them and they are imported into Japan and then to get them stateside they are exported out of japan and into America or other countries. Japan is known for its extremely high tariffs so when the are imported there's a tariff, then when there exported there's an even heavier tariff finally then theres a tariff on the importation as well. That has to account for much of the made in japan companys extra cost, it also explains why the ksc Taiwan versions of their guns are so much cheaper than their Japanese made counterparts. All of the High-end companies are good but I would get KWA for one you can use KSC after market parts and you get support stateside if you need to fix something, they have good reliability and great support that's why I would go with kwa.

I say this in almost every "best brand EVAR" GBB thread: Stay away from WE unless you want a propane/CO2 explosion on your hands. Mine leaked EVERYWHERE out of the box; Mags, gun, everything. After a bit of disassembly...well...a lot of disassembly, I wound up giving up. It is nice to look at, though.

Tokyo Mauri is the best, I know that they are a little more expensive but they make up for it with their ability. I have a Tokyo Mauri desert warrior and simply it is amazing, other than that i am going to have to go with KJW for m9's. But other than those two for m1911s I am still a fan of Tokyo Mauri.
