Currently i am NOT selling any so please do not pm me asking me to buy some. I'm just trying to get some player input before i decide to make some and sell them in the commerce section. Just finished a prototype and decided to post some pictures. This is the version one unit. Basically it simulates tritium night sites with a super bright LED and fiber optic wiring. Pictured is a rifle version that consist of 2 cables for the rear site and one for the front. Installation is not hard but its not that easy. It requires disassembly of the AEG and drilling of small holes in some AEG's. Some of the basic features of the Version 1 are -Long battery life -Ability to use 3-9 volts for operation -Waterproof Version 2 will feature -Smaller more compact unit -3-24 volt operation -Adjustable brightness -Small on/off switches Colors avable will be -Blue -Red -Orange -White -Green -Any color combo for front and rear "example green back red front" So how much would some of you be willing to pay for something like this? Note i can easy shave down about 40% of the size of the prototype i made.

All I see is a picture of a cable. Anyone else see anything different?

Yeah... I wasn't going to be the first to say it..
Wtf?
LEDs.... on a gun? Especially in airsoft, 95% of the players don't use their sights.
You would need super bright LEDS for the day, and dim ass ones at night.... and... they can't be pointed at your eye... or.... at your enemy.. which would give away your position.

Thats why V2 I'm adding a adjustable brightness feature. Since they are fiber optic they are only viewable from directly behind the sights. Cant be seen from the sides or front so they wont give away your position infact a normal red dot score has a better chance of giving away your position in the dark more than these. I can see he does not know what fiber optics is. Well fire optics is glass or lexan wire enclosed in a coating. They are about the size of normal tritium sights and the green set i just made is just as bright as the tritium on my USP. But then again i didn't ask wither people used normal iron sights now did i? i just asked for input from people who would be interested in using tritium style sights. Also they wont blind you as your not looking directly at a super Bright led. your looking at a much smaller fiber optic cable.

So if they are pointing directly at your face so that you can see them, how would that light shining on your face not give away your position?

Fiber optic wire will just glow at the cut end and will not project the light into your eyes.

Commerce rules. Self explanatory. Just a heads- up.

Actually they will if the source is bright enough or if its dark enough outside. That is unless there is a cover over the end of the cable to stop the light there.

I'm certainly curious, I have a G36C that just might look totally bad ass with them. Again all you have is a picture of the cable, could we get a picture of the optics end? Or better yet mounted on a rifle with it on?
Any chance of selling it as a kit for custom installations so things could be fitted to an individual AEG (i.e. mounted only in say my G36C's handrail, while my M4 would have the setup wired in the entire AEG body)?

I'd pay up to 20 dollars for this. I'm curious to know how you plan to work around an M4's rear sight ring, since it isn't pistol sight style. I have a scope so I won't actually get one of these, but if I didn't I would totally get one.
+1 for innovation and creativity.
