Once again, Full Auto Heroes....Out numbered...... But not out gunned!!!!
We had a blast today! To the guys that showed up with the springers.....You have total respect from team fah. You came on to the field with a positive attitude...Kudos to you! fastEddyUsmc,,Semper-FI, my friend !
Now..down to business. Courtesy, honesty and respect= a super rec or op. Courtesy: WE all want to have fun, showing up to a rec game with a f'd up attitude will get you hurt or kicked off a field in a heart beat. Be courteous or stay home.
Honesty: When you are hit,..you are hit!! Call IT OR WE WILL KEEP FIRING ON YOU!! HONESTLY,,,,WE WILL. What is so hard to understand that "DEAD MEN DON'T TALK"!? Walk off the field with your mouth shut....please?
Respect: If you have no respect for others who play the game..stay home. Especially if you want to do a lot of trash talking about people you don't know and trashing their choice in gear..make sure your ass can cash the check your mouth is writing or you will walk off the field with your feelings hurt and your pride crushed.
That last line was for the ones who came to our field, trash talking our team and then ran home to your mommy!!!! Anytime you want an ass kicking,,,,hit us up!!

Oorah, well said. Honestly, we had about 8 guys who showed up to play using springers and paintball masks, and they were amazing people. They used communication and tactics to compensate for Dunhams-grade guns and did well enough. What really blew me away was they unpacked their gear in the face of a table full of upgraded guns and tricked out gear, and never once asked to trade sides or to get one of our guns. That's fuckin' airsoft. I can't wait to see what these guys do with "real" AEG's. FasteddyUSMC, it was great catching up with you, we're going to have to get a WMI Olde Tymer's game going for posterity!! Honestly, the rest of the guys that showed up with AEG's, you really should have just stayed home and gone fishing with dad. Constant trash talking in the staging area, dissing players and gear, to said player's faces, was uncalled for. Especially when you show up in woodland with a Sportline with one mag. Personally, I'm not offended that you were dying to touch my rifle, and then dissed it because you don't like my ACOG. My team has left-handed shooters, and I can't use their gear for crap because it's all sighted for a leftie, but I'll never talk down on them, just because their gear doesn't work for me. But actually dissing the players near you for no reason... that's just sad. Your own teammates came back to me asking what your problem was, and if we needed to get you to leave. And that's the guys who are helping you out.
Honestly, this day taught me a lot about airsoft. It shows me that a bunch of ill-equipped guys who play for the love of the game can make the day, and how a bunch of kids with bad attitudes can ruin it.
Hah hah hah.... oorah.....

Yes once again FAH was outnumbered and gunned.
It was very fun, It turned out a lot hotter than i anticipated from the morning.
And yes Guys who showed up with the springers played with respect and honesty. I did not hear one complaint from them the whole day. Thank you for coming out to the field.
There was a lot of trash talking that was not needed. I have no idea if the people wanted to start anything or not. A couple people felt that they were everything and thought they could command everyone.
Lastly there needs to be more people calling hits. Its a free rec game that you didn't pay for so you basically have no reason to have to not call a hit to stay in. There were more accounts of this than i could count. And yes we will lay down full auto until you do call it.

I also echo my fellow FAH members: To you guys running with the springers and such, kudo man, the whole lot of you. YOu made the game a great time, I can't wait to run with you again (or against heh heh heh). It'll be a sweet game when you get AEG's
FastEddyUSMC: Never did see you (and as usual didn't see oorah1 much either) but just talking with you I'm very impressed and respect you. I do however have a real issue with the trash talkers you brought with you. I'm sorry but this sport has no room for people like that, they'll only end up spoiling it for everyone else.
I don't mind talking smack with people, but you'd better be able to put your money where your mouth is.
heh heh heh oorah

I completely agree with everything so far on this, so I am not going to take the time to repeat it, but to whoever I completely blew up on for not calling their hits, I do apologize, two wrongs do not make a right, and who knows, you did have a lot of gear on, so it is a distant possibility that you couldn't feel the hits. I loved the springers, and you guys lit me up my fair share of times.
*stares into apparently empty forest* "AHHHH, HIT!! HIT!!!" heh heh heh oorah

How many guys came out to this rec game, me and my pals, are thinking about making it out to your next game, but don't want to drive and hour and a half for a poorly populated rec game.

we had a good 20 people or so, and the game was spur of the moment for a lot of people. Our usual turnout's 25+.

Big Boss, there was about 20 that showed up. But most people think that because it is a free rec game, it's not worth the trip. Well.....thats money you are saving for gas and or munchies. ;D Our field is located in rockford\ algoma. A lot of trees and hills but lots of fun! I think you would find it to be worth the trip, i beleive small numbers makes fun games. We would like to get some team on team games going if we can find some takers....what say you? Two teams against two? We have some serious scenarios such as sniper hunt, satchel charge, king of the hill, capture the flag and blah, blah, blah. But i must say, the pistol shot gun games are a good way to end the day!!

I'm telling ya man that sounds like a lot of fun, but ever since my gun's went down, I've lost all confidence as a team leader using a stock tm mp5k, ya I know its our teams back up weapon. I think that if we go we would go late june early july, ohh and how about those pics I heard you guys talking about.

BigBoss, you shouldn't feel bad about the TM MP5K. I've had a fare share of guns dump out on me in my time, and playing with a gun I don't normally use makes me a better player in the end. Give me some time, I'll see about those pics...

Sapper, We're hoping to hold another game this sunday, if I'm not working. If I am and can get out at a decent time, I may have someone run the game in my stead until I can get out there. Either way, it'll be a blast, and I'm hoping we can work on some tactical training while we're out there! Welcome back, man!
