Well RC chargers will charge a large batt in 15 min... its very very very nice to have but "trickle chargers" really only come with guns from US dealers like jungletoy(to my knowledge), however, the chargers that come with guns from www.wargameclub.com/WGC_Shop/ or www.uncompany.com are fairly nice!

A good charger should cost between $50-$150. Of course, the more expensive it is, the more bells and whistles it will have as well (discharger, AC/DC, variable peak/trickle etc)
For airsoft purposes, digital peak chargers are probably the best way to go. There are those that say you should use trickle chargers (slower chargers mind you, whereas peak chargers will charge faster) every once in a while to "properly" charge your batteries. I however, have used a Novak Rhino Peak Charger for about a year or two now and have been extremely pleased with it's performance not only charging fast, but keeping my battery conditioned and lasting as long as it has.

Give me a shout before you do, I got that kick butt charger in this week and have restored 2 batteries. You might want to stop in and check it out. I do not sell them but I can help you in that department with contact information.

I have a TLP Intellicharger and it works great. It charges very fast and it senses when the battery is almost full and then slows down to make sure the battery charges all the way up. It also has a discharger.

if your on a tight budget I would suggest the mega peak trickle charger, It doesent discharge but it gives my 9.6 1700 mah a full charge in about 15 mintues. It can be bought at any hobby shop/Rc shop for a price of about $35-40.. Its well worth all of it

Its when the battery is fully/done charging it automaticaly stops charging the battery... It helps you not allow yourself to overcharge the battery.

I have one of the TLP chargers. I've been pleased with it. I paid $45 from UN Company, so it's affordable also.
