I just bought a Hurricane valve set and installed it with no problems......well, the hammer spring was a bit troublesome but I prevailed in the end. When I got done I had a left over piece and don't know what it is. Its a cylindrical piece of aluminum with a pointy cone on one end (kind of like a needle valve), and a slot in the cylinder on the other end. Anyone know what that is? Its hard to describe. Here's the upgrade I bought www.combatdepot.com/default.asp?pg=products&specific=jqmpdqi8 it dosen't show the part I'm talking about so I tried to draw it to the best of my memory. Its about 1/2" long and 1/4" thick community.webshots.com/s/image2/0/1/43/120800143emlqpe_ph.jpg

Nope Knief its not that......I modified my post with a pic. I have the exploded view and I don't see anything like it there. I assume its nothing I need......I always end up with extra parts. ;D

Unlike a lego set, guns don't typically have extra parts, know what i mean?
I can't tell what it is from your picture. Is there anyway you can get a digital pic of it and post it?

OK, I finally got some info. In case anyone wants to know: Its a floating valve and replaces part #24. I was told that many people report that its not worth the hassle of the install and sometimes causes more harm than good.
