I recentally took apart my gearbox and put bac togheter, but i think i may have put my anti-reversal latch in the wrong place - i am wondering were it should point.
I looked at the airsoft players guide(s) but they didn't help so if someone could get me a good pic of were it goes i would be very greatful, if not please do the best you can in descrbing it.
Thanks you

Should be resting against the bevel gear. (the gear that meshes with the motor)
if its installed correctly, you should only be able to turn the gears one way.

The three gears are: Bevel (Meshes with the motor) Spur (transfers power from Bevel to Sector) Sector (pulls back piston) There are two 'notches' that are on the 'inner' part of the bevel gear that the anti-reversal latch fits into. the notches permit motion one way(counter-clockwise if i remember) and don't allow it to turn the other way. this is necessary to keep the timing of the gears in relation to the piston. the latch should be 'sprung' that is... pushing against the gear. www.airsoftplayers.com/guides.aspcheck out the guides for some reference on mechbox assembly. if you're still stuck, feel free to PM me. Oh...and its good to be back.
