Think Ill need any other upgrades if I install a M100 Spring in my stock AEG? Its just a temperary upgrade until I can get the extra money for the Systema FTK. I know this shouldn't go in here, but is anybody selling a Systema FTK for the AK47? Thanks in advance.

Yea, but you have systema gears. Thats what Im worried about, my gears stripping. I mean, by June Id have enough to buy the FTK so what I wanna know is that will my stock gears last 5 months with a M100

like has been said many many times, its a "crapshot", you never know for sure how long your gears will last with or without an upgrade, some people have guns with just bushings and larger springs and have shot over 10,000 rounds, others had they guns break a few hundred rounds after just the bushings and spring

they "should". but the moral is... don't be suprised if they don't.

I guess the first question to ask here is how much shotting do you plan on doing from now until June. Like DE50man said, it is a "crapshot" we have seen gears go out in guns that were only a few weeks old, mostly do to abuse though. If you are going to play every other weekend and shoot the average amount of shots, say 600 to 1000 you will most likely be luck if it holds up, but stranger things have happend. To make it last longer I suggest no dry firing, no long clip emptying shooting and you will most likely make it. Remember this is only advice, I have no way of knowing the composition of the gears and your gun, so take it for what it is worth.
