Well, after I recieved my G36C I put it through its paces and was generally satisfied. However, I have two problems with it that I have been unable to find a solution to. One is that both my lowcap and hicap mags seem to have trouble with overfeeding or not feeding properly at all. Two is that whenever I try to pull the trigger while on single shot the trigger will catch and the gun will refuse to fire, I get the feeling that two is somehow related to one. Any help I can get will be much appreciated.

Tech section.
Also did you buy this gun new or used?

Brand new, which is why I'm a little confused.

Check the socket screws on your selector switch. A really common problem with the G36c's is that you'll lose one of the selector switches because of the loose screw. What may be happening is that the switch isn't thight and turning fully to to the semi-auto position.
Does it fire fine in full-auto, at this point?

I'd like to open my gun up, but the hex wrench I was provided with only fits my sight and picattiny rail. And yes, it fires excellently in full auto. Do you know what's up with the feeding problems, though?

In my mags, I had a little bit of plastic break off and jam up my standard mags. Those're easy to take apart.
You don't have to take apart the gun to check the selector switch, just flip the gun upside down and look at it.

It's not just the standard, it's also the HiCap. They'll both not feed or overfeed.
Yeah, the buttplate on the pistol grip is missing a screw.

Well, look at the underside of the selector switch as well.

Yeah, there is a screw missing. How do I replace it?

You would probably have to buy a new screw that is the same. Check your PMs.

Check the manual, it might tell you the size of the screw needed.

*pounds head against wall* I'm beginning to think that customs really screwed up, because I didn't recieve a manual with my gun.
