How do I use the Hop up tool correctly on KWA G18C

I just got my G18C (KWA). They don't send many instructions at all. I was wondering how you use the hop up tool correctly. What i mean is, do you use it with the slide installed and open. or do you dissasemble the slide and adjust it that way. Also I got a small allen wrench in the same small bag with hop up tool. Do i need to loosen anything before adjustment?

Any help at all would great!

You don't need to loosen anything nor do you have to take off the slide. Just rack it back, insert the hop up tool right into the barrel portion and turn either clockwise or counter-clockwise till you reach the desired effect.

KSC hopup is very simple to work with so I doubt you'll have trouble.
