I recently recieved some parts in the mail that I ordered off of Den Trinity Shop. One of the parts was a new spring guide, which has three bearings, instead of one. These bearings also don't seem to be removable. When I have this new spring guide in, it seems compress the spring even more than the other spring guide. So, a few questions:
1. Since the spring is more compressed, does this mean that the fps would be increased, do to the higher level of compression? 2. Is it safe to have a PDI 140% spring, with the new spring guide, with stock gears and motor(EG560)? 3. Is it possible to remove these bearings some how?
Thanks in advance, Noah

Ive heard around the message boards that you can go up to PDI 170% stock without messing up your gears so you should be fine. Im guessing the FPS will be higher as well (chrono it to see how much of an increase it is). If its not doing any damage and its not supposed to be removed, why remove it? correct me if im wrong

Well, the thing is I don't know if this new spring guide is putting too much compression on the spring or not. It could damage the gears because they may not be able to pull the piston back all the way.

The multi-bearing spring guide will not damage your gearbox in any way, shape, or form. It also will most likely not enhance performance noticeably...you may get a few more fps, but not enough to make a real difference.
