Hi, My friend has a Tm mp5 sd5 upgraded to 325 fps (by uncompany.com). Well here is whats wrong with it, the motor placement seems to keep messing up. First time it messed up during a game, he called out fixed it. He played for about 2 more games and it messed up again. Well that was 2 weeks ago and we played the other day and we once again fixed the motor placement before we play. He didnt even make it through a hicap before it once again messed up. What can he do to fix this problem of the constant messing up of the motor placement? What should he do? Please any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced

Don't put red locktite down unless you have a blowtorch or a mighty strong arm.

Yes locktite will do it, though you may want to look into the colors other than red(blue maybe? it's been a while since I used it), they indicate the grade of hardness and what they are supposed to be used for. Take a look on the package and it should lead you the right way as to which grade to use. Good luck

Blue is semi-permenant I think. It holds on tightly but doesn't need a lot of heat or as much torque as red locktite does to break its hold. I recommend blue.

This is what a guy on the forum said on JT about the gun I assume you've never done this before? Sounds like something is screwed up inside. You'll have to verify that the gears are correctly shimmed and lubed. Also, verify that the anti-reversal lever is installed correctly, and that your sector gear is correctly aligned with the tappet plate. In addition, you must adjust your motor gapping.

yep. go with blue. Red is for long term applications... (which is why it's put on gearboxes because they 'aren't supposed to be opened' well.. that and the vibration could back out a screw...

if the motor keeps backing out of the gearbox, the tightening the set screw will do the job.
what i do with my G3 is:
Tighten the motor til the gearbox can't fire.... then back it out one complete turn.
it seems to work pretty well for me.
you might have different results with your weapon.. soooo tighten it til it can't fire, then slowly back it out in 1/8 turn increments til it can fire normally.
then you're set.
