I want to make my sr-16 to a semi auot shooting sniper weapon. I was looking for like 450FPs and wasentplanning on sppending much more that 150$ on internals. What type of internals should i get to make my sr-16 shootin 450fps reliably? Also what type of external upgrades do u suggest?

I have the vmatch front end for sale actually, and the whole stockl gun as well. pm me if your interested, heres a link to the pic of my gun www.angelfire.com/ak5/muskegonairsoftnet/sniperrifles3.jpgwithout scope and bipod, they are sold (unless it falls through) later

Do u think an m130 would crack a stock gearbox? I was planning on semi soo i dont know is that would have any different affect.

Its hard to say whether an M130 will eventually crack a stock gearbox firing semi-auto only. An M130 will definitely stress the gears and bushings, which is why I recommended an FTK, but its harder to say how long the gearbox will last with a stiffer spring. Its all a guessing game, that's why I suggested upgrading it to further reduce the chance of failure.

Gearboxes have cracked with far less than an M130.
guy i used to talk to in CA cracked his Version 2 with a 130%. (M110)
another guy i've spoken to cracked his AK gearbox with an M120.
Anything over stock, you're risking it.
higher the upgrade, greater the risk.
