I have a question for you G36 users out there... How exactly do you keep the pin in your foregrip? Both with my stock, and with the K conversion that jacko sold me, i'm having pin issues... It's loose, worse in the K conversion (it's NOT a build issue, at first it sat in very, very snugly, the grip is getting adjusted and sitting in a "better" spot now). Like, it's so loose atm that I smack the grip and it'll fall out =(. Spun a corner in CQB and it was barely, barely hanging in there... I had it fall out once in the field, *luckily* i was able to find it.
Is this just my gun, or are all the G36 pins shotty like this? Right now i've run a piece of twine thru the pin and twisted it around so it wont fall out... Any better suggestions?

Well, my pin wasn't even being held in by my C grip anymore before I got the K kit. So far, it's been fine, but one thing I was going to try was a rubber o-ring. See that little slot cut into the end of the pin? I was gonna see if my local hardware store had a small enough rubber o-ring to slip onto that slot and see if that did the trick.

Well, mine's got the stock O-ring... It just doesnt seem to want to do the trick. Was thinking of drilling a hole thru it and running a stopper (at the end of the pin - would be iffy as to wether you could fit it or not), or buying a nut/bolt type setup... That'd look oogly, but would get the job done.
Or maybe... hum. Could pop a hole/groove like, halfway down the pin on each side and run stoppers inside the pin... basically just like the sig 552 pin is. It's hard to describe... but that'd take forever =(
Guess i'll just stick with my oogly twine setup for now.
(this coming from the guy that has a 9.6v 1100 mAh battery zip-tied to his foregrip...)

sadly, my pin is lost from the same problem. I found quite the perfectly shaped stick to keep the foregrip attached, though.
