Hey i just got a new M4 a week or so ago and the front main pin that holds the body together just behind the hand grip falls out about ever 3 seconds, im afraid im going to lose it out in the bush, anybody know if its supposed to be that loose? Also i have conciderable barrel wobble, about 2 or 3 centemeters. That normal? Thanx

its definitely NOT supposed to fall out does it screw on, or is it an actual pin that is supposed to be able to pop out? (i dont own an M4) if it's the screw type, you may have stripped it. i did that on my MP5 and just picked up a 5 cent washer from Ace just checked Combat Depot, and it seems like they're the screw type pins can't help with the barrel

Yeah it's a pin, but they do fall out from time to time, they are supposed to be fit to the receiver. Though as with most airsoft. There is allot of variance, some receiver's will be really tight others loose. My first suggestion would be to ruff up the pin a little with some sidecuts or something to give it a little something to catch on the reciever. I'm having a simular problem with my M4(well my brothers) but that would be the first thing I would try, then if nothing else buy the threaded pins or get a bolt simular from a hardware store since this isn't a real reciever you don't have any of the stresses on the pins that would make a specific pin necesary.

Iv been told the barrel woble is normal for an M16 or varient of one. With the pin i just chose a quick cheap fix. Put electrical tape on it to keep it in place. thanx for your help thow guys.

Yeah barrel wobble is pretty normal because of the design but, there are some things you can do. First off tighten the delta ring(well not the delta ring but the peice behind it, I would say the collar, under the delta ring), and the screws where the barrel meets the delta ring. There are 3 two normal and on set screw, they are all hex head, but that should help. The long term solution is to get a 1 peice outer barrel which by memory first factory makes and it's about $30.00
