I saw a online guide on one of the airsoft websites (I think airsoftplayers). It showed how to install a new spring and metal bushings. I tried to look for it but I couldnt find it. Can anyone show me where it is? Also is there a guide that shows how to remove the motor?

the motor is very easy. just take the 2 screws in the bottom of the grip out, take off the base plate, then disconnect the 2 wires and it falls out. make sure you dont loose any pieces, especially the little metal disc www.airsoftplayers.com/mechbox/tutorial.asphere's the link. i'd suggest finding someone who know's what they are doing. i watched Bigmack work on mine, and so many things are easy to loose and forget, like loosing shims and bushings from the gears, the trigger falling apart, the tappet plate spring shooting away...

www.airsoftplayers.com/guides.aspThe first one is the guide you saw, but the next two guides might help a little, too. To get the motor out, just uncrew the two phillips head screws in the base plate on the grip. Leave the hex screw alone, that adjusts the motors depth placement in the gearbox. Screwing with that will change how the motor's gear contacts the bevel gear (or is that the spur gear? I can't remember which gear is which). Then you'll have to remove two clips and wires that attach to the motor. after that, you can just pull the motor out. damn, 3 minutes slow

spur gear is the thin center one. the one that meshes with the motor is a bevel. bevel = angled.
anywho... if you're in the Detroit area, i'd be happy to work on your weapon for you...but i will be out of town for a couple weeks after thurs (don't expect me to be back til about the 18th.) after that, all i request is gas money.
