i'd say that the M16A2 barrel would be your choice, then.

Tight bore barrels increase accuracy. They also (supposedly) boost FPS *slightly* (everything I've read says the difference in FPS is negligible). The standard Marui/CA/whatever barrels are 6.08mm inner diameter (ID) (someone correct me if I'm wrong ), aftermarket ones are either 6.04 (systema/KM) or 6.03 (Prometheus) mm ID. How do they work? One, the tighter barrel means the bbs bounce around inside the barrel less, leading to a straighter flight path. Two, because there's less space for air to escape around the bb, there's a power gain (again, all accounts seem to say that's negligible). Are they good? If you want to increase your accuracy (i.e. snipers), then yes. If you want more power, then the money is better spent elsewhere. As Bigmack said, you'll want to match your gun model to the type of barrel you'll be purchasing, unless you want to extend your outer barrel, or use a silencer to hide the longer inner barrel. Hope that answers your question.
