I don't know if anyone owns the colt gbb (caspian model), but I need a little help. First thing is I don't have a manual to this gun. WTS did not recieve or give me one. Any help with a printout or website would be appreciated.
I'm too worried to open up the gun because it would void my warranty, but I think it was already void when I sprayed silicone oil in the gun. I've used the oil to maintain my p226 and it has been working great, but right after I oiled the caspian, it seems to be f-in up. It could have been the loading the mag, or maybe shooting it so many times right when I got it (about 120 bb's before the problem) that it hurt an o-ring inside the gun. I was and still getting a full 30 shots out of the chamber before it is out. I HAVE DRY FIRED THIS GUN (maybe 10 times before the problem, but it was not right after the problems). This is what the gun is doing now...
-When loading mag with gas, there seems to be no leaks or problems (I'm a little bad at loading it with gas. Sometimes I will release a lot). I will load it with bb's to the max (14) when wts says 12.
-Slide is smooth, inserting mag is smooth. The safety works fine. Haven't figured out what the back button (or whatever you consider it) is used for. Will shoot the first bb as it should, but not as fast as it did before the problem.
-Action is BAD. It will not load another bb until the third shot. Then it has trouble again. Sometimes it won't pull the hammer back all the way. It will dry fire a lot of times, but when the bb's do get through, sometimes they are very slow. Its like the gun just added a bunch of weight to the slide. Nothing has been added! It has never made it back far enough to keep the slide back when I have shot all my bb's (after the problem).
-Used Excel .20g bb's and nothing else. Green gas bought from WTS and nothing else. The oil was SILICONE SPRAY from SNAP.
Well, I hope that covers everything. I sure thought it did. BTW, whats the pin (with a grip and a o-ring on it) that you get with the gun used for?
