I have a question about the naming sceme for the PDI springs made for the APS2. As some may know, I am planning on putting a 250% into my super9 pro: miairsoft.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=spring&action=display&n=1&thread=1049076989But I don't really undestand what exactly 250% means. Does it mean that you take a base velocity, and multiply that by 2.5 when you put in the 250% spring? And if so, what is that base velocity that you multiply? Some say the Super9 pro shoots 200 fps, which means that a 250% spring would boost it to 500 fps, but others say it shoots 400 fps (I realize that is a riduculous claim), which means (theoreticaly) the spring would boost it to 1000 fps. How can that be? If it is the same spring, how can it boost the gun to different velcocites? And even so, 500 fps with a 250% spring STILL seems awful high.

450 FPS with a 250% sounds about right. I'm not sure why they use percentages, but I think the 200% or 250% would do you just fine.

What does a 250% spring in a Super 9 give you? A pile of parts, and an excuse to buy a good gun. ;D
