While meeting to discuss ONB yesterday, we decided we would try to make it down for a future skirmish. Perhaps even the next big one at Vikings new spot. We thought it would be a good idea to see the type of area you folks are playing in so we don't under or over estimate our area needs for ONB. I'm now checking all the necessities.... Auto insurance paid up? CHECK Eye protection? CHECK Mouth guard? CHECK Spare Parts CHECK Mud gear? CHECK Battery Charger CHECK GPS? CHECK
Hmm, anything else I may need that relates to things that could go astray?
I also think our first skirmish should be a raid on the Proboard offices. What the heck are they doing to the forum!?!?

Now THIS is a good idea! Viking mentioned he would want to set up another game in about 2 weeks or so. As soon as he works out the details and a date is confirmed I'll let you know so you all have time to prepare for the journey. *me fears the Hunter-Killer*

There's good response from NATF regarding the BHD skirmish, and perhaps we/I could make a Viking event in 2 weeks. Zeus is still pending the finishing touches to the internals, so he's running at close to 400 fps, but due to budgetary constraints he may not receive addl. surgery til March (bonus month).
As for the board, I LIKE the way it looks and performance was only terrible there for a couple days. If those Proboard folks would keep things running smoothly it would be nice.
I must go now, I just returned from Chicago and two days of training and fun visiting local establishments known for their good eats, killer blues and well stocked bars. It was fun, but I need R&R from my R&R..........

The NATF armory is growing bigger & stronger. We're looking fwd to introducing ourselves to you (hehehe). Zeus is now powered by a 9.6v 2400mAh battery (I found a way to wedge that bugger in the stock), or any large size battery (10.8? 12?). Progear M150 Reinforced gearbox goes in next. Just need the sling and bipod mount and he's done. Zeus will not be used for shooting anyone under 100' (Benelli shorty for that task), and will probably be used at greater distances on semi, and at extreme distances on full. I intend to use him to fill the role of a heavy machine gun, and maybe the occasional sniping role. You can say that an M4 is not a 50 cal (the realism argument, and you'd be right from a real weapons pt of view). On the other hand, this one will fill that role nicely for airsoft purposes, and in a less expensive, more compact pkg. Might I suggest you keep you heads down as an NATF squad advances?! Can you say covering fire..........or perhaps ouch? As well, PimP just received an item that defines his role as a sniper (as long as he can be quiet and stay hidden). It's famous on the Net where there have been favorable reviews written about it, it only shoots one BB at a time and it brings true meaning to the phrase "reach out & touch someone". I will not divulge the name or exact nature of the weapon. Although from what he posted in the NATF Bunker I'm of the belief he's sleeping with it ;D

This is no ordinary APS-2 SV, no sir. This is a famous work of art. I'm not sure if I'm worthy of being shot by it.............nope I'm not (phew, hope that works).
