I know there was a thread of people interested in playing in a CQB enviroment. Well, I am aware of a few places that may be of some use, though they are on Military Bases, and may either take money, or connections to use them. The two I am framilar with are, the MOUT area at Camp Custer in Battle Creek, and there is a paintball city at the air base in Alpena. I have played paintball at the latter, and I must say is quite fun. If anyone wants to look into this, might be something worthwhile

If any of you check out the Airsoft Players forums you've probably noticed a post by Janus giving juicy details about an indoor paintball field that will soon let us use the place for.... *drumroll* Yep!..Airsoft! Some of the SEMTEX members already know what I'm talking about but for the rest of you, here's the scoop! Doh@Poor Jag! Here's some additional info Goblin of Team 7.62 sent me along with the pics: "This place is vast, and I mean vast. There are 4 main areas to this place. Area One. Paintball area, a lot of good cover, and alor of kill spots and such. Area Two. 2nd floor area, pretty big and you can rain pain down on other people on the 1st floor. GREAT sniping. Area Three. Back area, a lot of great cover, pallets, and a forklift and other things to hide around. Area Four. Back lot area. 50 thousand square feet of outdoor combat. I am not joking the place reminds of the movie full metal jackset when they were in that city area. Creepy..... More info and pictures can be found over at the TEAM 7.62 website.

If it wasn't big enough, I don't think anybody would go. ;D Minky, Hado, soon to be Ammo and Havok, and I couldn't play either, SickPointe, if they didn't allow 350 fps. I certainly think they'll modify their rules for Airsoft.

That place looks pretty cool, the 2 areas I am refering to, are not one building, but quite a few. The last time I was at cam custer was a couple of years ago, they had a reenactment deal, and I belive there will be another in a month or so, but I cant make it. The paintball city in alpena is pretty cool, and from what I hear more accesible to play in. I believe they said there were 4 or 5 buildings, a couple of 2 story buildings, etc.

Tha paintball city in alpena is a MOUT training course on Phelps-Collins ANG Base, and is not readily accesible to the public to play on. The only way for most paintballers to get to it is through the events that TC Paintball hold there every so often (usually between 2 and 3 times a year). that said, it is a very cool place to play, there are between 10 and 12 usable buildings (i only say between 10 and 12 because i haven't been there since June 30th, 2001) most of them are 2 story, and big enough that it makes for some intense CQB action. [Edit] It is 10 usable buildings, see pics and a map @ www.micrtc.ang.af.mil/crtcweb/facilities/LG/security/police/mout.htm

Supposedly, according to their website, "WE ARE A SMALL TEAM LOCATED IN THE BATTLE CREEK , HOMER AREA IN MICHIGAN". Just look at their picture on the home page.

I can't wait for this CQB game. I'll probably wait to upgrade until after this event. Doesn't the PDI 150% put you at 360 fps? I wanna try and stay below 350.

My 150% gives me 360 fps with .20's.
