I took this right from the site!!!!!!
Operation: Southern Comfort 2, a two day airsoft event, open to the public. The event is being organized by AirsoftPlayers.com, and sponsored by the sponsors listed below.
When: March 23rd and 24th, 2002
$20 dollars per attendee for the two days. Price includes entry into the raffle. The fee of $20 dollars is due at the time of registration
Rules: 400fps w/.2s limit on fully-automatic rifles. Semi-automatic only or bolt action rifles allowed up to 550fps w/.2s, and must observe minimum shooting distance of 100 ft. Teams will be generated to insure that no one team in any given scenario has a distinct range advantage over the other, so guns of all fps level are welcome, and will be effective.
Fully enclosed eye protection must be worn. Full face protection optional. If your face protection cannot withstand a point blank shot from an AEG firing .2s at 440, then you cannot wear it. We will have such an AEG on hand to test if there is a question.
Other rules will be dictated on a scenario basis.
You must also observe all local field rules. This means that attendees under the age of 18 must have their parents sign a waiver. If you are under 18 and want to go but your parents wont be there, email Pikachoad for more information.
The event is being held at
Dothan Survival Games
141 Cowarts Rd.
Dothan, AL. 36301 ROUGH MAP HERE!
DIRECTIONS HERE!
The four main fields:
The Castle- pick one of two ways around a lake, and assault the castle on the other side.
The Maze- dense woods and foliage with paths cut throughout
The Woods- natural surroundings laced with cover manufactured from natural elements.
Dodge City- Come on, hiding behind a VW Beetle?? Gotta love it.
Field Map:
Notes about the map:
We are using everything inside the yellow boundary for the game. WARNING: this field is normally used as the subfields. We are the ONLY ones that use the whole field at once. As such, if you tread outside the normal boundaries, which you are welcome to, you risk a run-in with insects and 'critters.' So be warned. The field owner told me he would clear out as much as he could.
There are going to be about 167people including national guard. But its in alabama way to far fr me but some of u might be interested.
