In my attempt to my KWC m-4 into an SR-16 I decided I was going to need an RAS hand guard, My two only options where to buy a real one for 300$ or to buy a replica for 100$. But after looking over some pictures of the ras I realized I could probably make one of these thing out of PVC pipe and plastic. I've already made 4 rails by apoxying 2mm thick sheets of plastic that have been cut to shape together. After I panted them black they looked just like the real thing. The best part is that because I'm using scrap plastic this Rail isn't going to cost anything.

Haha Bigmack is wrong.  ;D RAS is the new system, Rail Accessory System. Just check out....hmm....Knight Armament's website. The RIS is being phased out, if I'm correct. Tokyo Marui just makes the RIS because it's the more popular, older system. |

you have to be pretty good at modding these guns I can't even get my shotgun or micro uzis to work.
