OP is NOT an airsoft dealer/website... they simply offer an alternative to some items which can be/are used in airsoft. Recently made a purchase from www.opticsplanet.com/ and was very satisfied. Optics Planet carriers a wide variety of items, with a focus on scope, binoculars, telescopes etc. None-the-less, don't be surprised if you can find some other tactical equipment you might need. Personally, I got some gloves, a duty belt, mag pouches, belt keepers and a pair of Peltor Tac 6s. Shipping was quick, and free (certain items get you free shipping ;D ) Their communication and costumer service is also top notch. A few hours after placing my order, I was notified a few items were on back order and I was asked what I would like to do. They had no problem shipping what was available and keeping me notified of when my other items would ship. Returns/exchanges also went well when I need to return my gloves for a new pair due to a hole in them. They paid for shipping back and got the new pair out quickly. Because of good costumer service, convenient one-stop shopping and prices which are either equal or less than places I usually check I will likely order from them in the future. edit thanks to Dahm

I took a look at the place. It looks okay. They have a lot of optics related things..hence the name. But I thought it was a pretty crappy place for airsoft. I looked around and really nothing there interested me.
Also, the layout was a bit confusion and got you lost in all the words. Seemed like a lack of general solid layout..but thats just a side note.
It would be great for someone in need of optical equipment, maybe in a laboratory setting or for observational purposes (perhaps a spectators sport..heh) but for airsoft, really just fails. They're not directing to our market.

Dahm, its not an airsoft supplier nor do I hope I made it seem like one.
As I said, and you mentioned, they are primarily a dealer in optical equipment. However, if you know what you are looking for in the way of tactical gear, they may have it for you at a good price. Most of their stuff is "duty" related, ie the Law Enforcement community but I feel its still a good place to know about.
I agree their site isn't great on organization, but I only use the search feature looking for items I know I want not general browsing. Mostly, I offer this as a way to compare prices and possibly find a good/better deal.
It worked for me, maybe it will work for others.

I purchased a blackhawk chest rig off of ebay through optics planet. Apparently I ordered it in the wrong color by accident, so I called up their customer service (which is available on Sundays!) and was able to get the order fixed by Monday with the item arriving Thursday. I was pretty satisfied with the communication and relatively prompt shipping, would purchase from again.

A++
I ordered a Streamlight TLR-1, IR Filter, Tailcap, and Pressure Switch from these guys, and all I can say is wow. Extremely good communication and incredibly fast shipping.
I ordered yesterday, it arrived today at 1:15pm.
Best company I have ordered from, and definitely on par with SKDTac.

Every time I order they don't come through with the products.
I have been happy with their service.... They have great customer service people there emailing you, but items always seem to be out of stock, and a few of them were discontinued on me and they refunded money on several of my orders.

Since the Obama election Ive gotten in the habit of calling before I make orders from real steel sites. But Optics Planet emailed me when my red filter was out of stock, almost immediately. They also immediately switched it to an infrared filter upon my request.
