Viking hosts events at his tactical fun land in Howell. Those are about the only events posted on these forums, but occasionally another one comes up. Newman hosts smaller (and younger) events at his field in Saline, we discuss all of those on the FLAG forums; newman.proboards4.com/index.cgi. WTS-Mike has hosted some events in Holland also. As for retailers, you can go to www.airsoftplayers.com and find their "seller rating" section, it's the second from the bottom on the left hand nav bar. If you're going to buy stateside, I recommend www.wolverinetactical.com, www.airsofttoys.com, and www.mdairsoft.com. All three have great service. Wolverine tactical is based out of Grand Haven and Run by WTS-Mike, and his partner Clayton. They have the best customer service i've ever seen. MDairsoft has pretty much the best prices in the U.S., but it'll take them a while to get waht you want. I think they special order almost everything after you ask them to. Airsofttoys also has great prices and great customer service. They have the best stock of the three places I've listed, although the other 2 places could probably get anything airsofttoys gets (I think they pretty much use the same supplier, but Mike can clear that upa little more). I have Never ordered From over seas, but www3.wargameclub.com/WGC_Shop/ and www.dentrinityshop.com are supposed to be very reliable places to order from, but that's second hand knowlege, so somebody who has ordered from them will have to clear that up. They will always have better prices, but shipping will be a lot more, so what you pay will end up being about the same whether you order from U.S. or Hong Kong retailers. When you order from HK, there's always a chance of your gun getting seized by customs, but that happens very infrequently.

The only thing that airsoftextreme carries that airsofttoys doesn't is preupgraded guns and package deals. And the prices on the package deals aren't very good when you compare it to airsofttoys prices. For example, airsoftextremes package deal for the M4A1 including; Battery (mini, stick or standard - this depends on the type of AEG) Charger Discharger (miniplug included) Hicap Mag Bag of Excel 0.20g BB's (3700) Shipping included in the price (tax not included for CA residents) all for $395
If you add that up on airsofttoys, this is what you get; TM M16 Series High Cap. (300rds) $38.00 TM M4A1 $265.00 Sanyo Mini battery 8.4v, 600mah $30.00 TLP Intelli Charger/Discharger $65.00 TM battery Discharger $15.00 0.20g Excel BB Bag (3700) $15.00 Subtotal: $428.00
i don't know what charger they include in their package, but it's probably the only one on the site, which is 18 dollars, so lets take away the difference.
TLP Intelli Charger/Discharger $65.00 - 5 hour Charger (7.2v - 9.6v) $18.00 = $47.00
So subtract $47.00 from the price at airsofttoys, you get $381.00. now you have to include the free shipping offered by airsoftextreme. To my house, shipping for all of this is $9.00. That is calculated to MY house, but it shouldn't be much more if where ever you live in Michigan, or nearby.
So now add that in, the total at airsofttoys is $390. That is 5 dollars cheaper than airsoftextremes package deal that is supposed to be saving you money.
And as for preupgraded guns, Airsofttoys will do that for you on request, you pay for the parts of course, for $10 extra if you bought your gun from them, and $25 if you bought it from somewhere else and want to ship it to them so they will upgrade it.
Airsofttoys sounds like a better buisness to me, i don't think i'll be buying a whole lot from airsoftextreme any time soon, atleast not while airsofttoys is in buisness.
I think that'll put things in prespective for you, Omega. And i hope that helped you out a little, Red

My point was, don't buy from AE, they charge too much, buy that from airsofttoys. They are a much better retailer than AE.
