It has everything to do with airsoft! Don Semora is a notorious scammer dealing in airsoft goods, and it appears he's been working his magic again lately. I emailed d8648272 after I saw his post over on ASP, thinking that he'd get a better response from our site here, being that the address he lists for Semora is in MI. It also adds a little more fuel to the fire of speculation that Janus is Semora, as jdl_9th noted in another thread. There's a huge thread in the forums at www.airsoftzone.com dealing with this issue, so it might be worth checking out for some additional people to contact.

You know i thought abou ti for a sec...I think that JANUS/Don Semora (if our allegations are correct of course) was a bit of a Bond fan. Think about the movie golden eye. Janus was the alias of the bad guy who used to have a different identity (although in stoping crime, not causing it, but there is still a similarity). Neither Janus had been seen by a reputable source. Both ended up in crime. Both had the double identity thing. both were at one point respected members of an organization. He was hinting at his own past by choosing the name JANUS, just nobody picked up on it until now. Or i'm crazy and trying to tie to totally unrelated things together like the stock market and sun spots. But we'll see.

Alough the Bond simularities may be true it is not anything that will stand up in court. D8648272 how did you send the money if it was with a money order do you still have the address. If paypal do you have the e-mail address. Any information like that could really help.

Dice, he listed all of that information in his first post (wel...not how he payed, but the rest) and i knew it wouldn't hold up in court, just stating the similarity, it's really quite crafty by him, if it is what he was doing.

Ugh...Postal MOs are a pain in the butt to deal with compared to the ones you get at grocery stores. You'll have to ask at your post office, or check www.usps.com to see what the procedure is for filing a claim. Most likely it involves a crapload of filling out forms and then waiting for 3 months . There's no easy way to check if and when a Postal MO was cashed, as far as I know...

It's about a five hour drive for me. Maybe you could just go up there, along with the other MiA people he's ripped off, and demand either your money or the product.
