Ok guys i have been playin paintball for 5 years and i want something a lil more realistic so i foudn airsoft.. ok well i was lookin at all these rifles cuz im more of a sniper myself and i found the psg1.. but i saig no because i wanted close quater combat ability.. so then i found 2 other guns... the H&K G3 SG-1 and the Steyr Aug(military version) so i thought i would turn to some experts for advice on which gun i shoudl get. Thnx for your time.

Well… I think you made a wise decision by not going with the PSG1; it is way over rated and a piece of junk if you ask me. Now between the SG1 and the AUG if you want the ability to CQB then I would say go with the AUG. The SG1 is to long of a rifle to be carrying around in CQB. The Aug however is a good choice, its rather short which is good for CQB but also has an amazingly long inner barrel because of the bullup design which will double it as a efficient sniper rifle with a modest upgrade. In this situation AUG all the way.

Viking pretty much said everything I wanted to say, which is go with the AUG civilian version. You can have a scope for outdoor/sniper games, and use a red dot or no sights at all for CQB. The main reason to go with the Civ AUG would be that, since you plan to use it for CQB, if the scope happened to get shot you can replace any optics on the Civ much easier than you can on the Military.

Thnx Guys... i think i will go wit the AUG then... i just needed that extra push in the direction. and thnx for the info about the civilian version.. i will get it instead of the Military.

yep...stay away from the SG/1 if you want anything close to CQB style play. it's a massive beast of a weapon...AUGie is a much better all round choice.
