im probably gonna get flamed for even bringing this up but what is your guys' take on the debate between the two? yes airsoft is cooler looking and more accurate but you cant tell when u get hit sometimes.
i have both pball and airsoft guns and kinda wanna pick one or the other for cost reasons. need some input plus i think getting flamed is fun! ;D

If we thought paintball was cooler, what would we be doing on an airsoft forum?

well, actually that is the only downfall to airsoft, u cant tell when sum1 is hit. U have 2 rely on the "honor" system. Otherwise you can buy 6mm pantballs for your airsoft guns but they will surely mess up your gun because the 6mm paintballs suck major ass. I say chose airsoft, it looks real and is in fact very real. It is also cheaper to maintain than paintball. but if u buy an aeg you have to follo the caretaking intructions here: www.redwolfairsoft.com/images/bite/BiteJune00/Bite-jun00.htm#AEG%20Careread this and follw-very useful

Paintball's more popular, which translates to more players and actual paintball fields. I've got 4 paintball guns even though I don't play anymore. The two aren't mutually exclusive and I don't think it's beneficial to either to have some sort of grudge match going. If you'd like to spend more money, and take the more socially acceptable route, go into paintball. If you'd like to have some kickass gear and sweet looking weapons, go into Airsoft. That's what I'm doing.
