Well, since I got my MP5 back from airsoft toys, and only need a few more things for it (new sight, cocking handle, tactical foregrip) I was pondering buying a new weapon. I was thinking along the lines of an M4 (the status quo) or the Benelli M3 Super 90. Any tips or hints you can give me?

I've been thinking the same thing, I just don't exactly have the money to purchase anything new. Now that I have pretty much every MP5 part I ever wanted I'm starting to crave something new. But since I would most likely have to sell off my MP5 to buy anything new it's making me think I'll miss my MP5 when it's gone. All together I've spent nearly $500 on all the parts, upgrades, batteries. ($491 to be exact) Guess it would be a shame to part with it now after all that I've put all that time and money into it. Anyway... I too have been thinking about the M3 Super 90. I've always loved the way it looks, and after my evil twin Minky bought one he's been teasing me ever since. I knew the gun was big, but after seeing it with my own eyes it was bigger than expected. Weighed a little on the lighter side, but I'm guessing it's because the beast just looked so big you automatically think it'll weigh more. Can't really go wrong with the M4 either, I'm sure Newman and Viking will give you all the info you need about that particular weapon right there. Personally, I'm not a fan of the colt series *me ducks* but that's just my personal preference. Minky: give me thy M3 Super 90!!

That would be awfully odd, 2 guys with MP5's and M3 Super 90's but....It is the cheaper of the two, and does shoot out 3 bb's at a time. I also am in the same boat, I've spent at least 500 dollars, with upgrades, and mags, and anything else, and I just wouldnt feel right w/o having an MP5.
