I am looking to get a decent mask, or some goggles, but I have a bit of a concern which the title of this thread makes rather obvious. I am into piercings, especially facial, and am always adding new ones or taking old ones out. At the moment, I have a labret piercing, and a barbell going through the bridge of my nose. Also, I had 3 in my eyebrow, but they were rejected by my body. However, now that I am pretty experienced with piercings, and healing them and whatnot I am thinking about getting em all re-pierced.
So, what I need is a mask that makes minimal contact with the face. Is there perhaps any that are held on by the ears(goggles, anyways?)? Some things are alright, such as the 4 wheeler goggles I have that rest on the bridge, but not right where the piercing is. But are there, and can you reccomend any good facial protection that would maybe be a little loose or make minimal contact with my face?
I know this is probably a stupid question, but I figured I'd ask anyways.

take the jewlery out of your face or wear safety goggles is all i could suggest, or go to www.airsoft-war4.com, go to the Krazy Sales portion on the bottom of the menu on the left, and get a helmet with a riot face protector, that way nothing has to touch your face

First off, full seal goggls are pretty much mandatory for a lot of MiA games. I know a lot of folks wear safety glasses, not goggles, but they're idiots, and we don't want to have anymore of those.
That being said, here's the big deal with goggles, for most of us. This doesn't take into account any facial piercings:
Sights are the big factor in what goggles you'll enjoy wearing. If you use iron sights, the smaller, slimmer the profile, the better. A magnification scope, slammer is usually better, but it may not matter if you've got a riser rail. Same with a red dot scope, goggle size becomes less of an issue since you don't have to get right up on the scope (Unlike most magnifying scopes). So, what sights do you use?
In all honesty, you may want to look at some Scott or JT goggles, as they tend to have softer, pliable foam (At least, mine did when I played pball)) which won't aggrevate the bridge piercing as much as the stiffer rubber seals that goggles like the Bolle T-800's have.

Well, I can't really say just yet because I still haven't purchased my first AEG, but use assorted guns that belong to other people. I am getting ready to order either an AK or SR-16. If I get the AK, I'll just use the stock iron sites, if I get the SR, I'll probably get a red dot as soon as I have the extra cash(which may be a while, because I would like to get metal parts first, and I recently quit my job).
So what about the helmet with face protector Boanerge suggested? Would that be cool to take to a skirmish? Also, I doubt I'll be attending a whole lot of those anyways, because there are very few, if any events that take place within an hour of me, as far as I know. I mostly play what I guess are referred to as "backyard wars" or something like that? Just me and another dude or two in the woods. I would still like to use safe equipment though, rather it is required to play or not.
And I would rather not take out the piercings, especially when I get new ones. Many of these heal much quicker then you may think. The holes may not close completely, but they will shrink to the point that it is rather painful to get the jewelry back in. I had surgery not too long ago, and though only out for a couple hours, I had to have the guy that does my piercings use a rather dull metal tool to open the holes enough to get the jewelry back in without re-piercing everything. This ended up being more painful then when I had the piercings done in the first place. So I don't like taking them out for more then 10-15 minutes. Sorry, I know you probably don't care enough to read such a long explanation, but I figured I would put it before everyone eklse else also said "take the jewelry out".
Thanks for the info/suggestions though.

Okay, the thing Boanerge suggested? The website doesn't even say if it's ANSI rated. Don't use that thing, for the love of God, please.
Even if it was rated, it's not full seal.
Even it was full seal, wearing a plastic shield in front of your face would also be just about the worst thing you could have for using iron sights outside of a paintball mask.
