The AA advantage isn't battery life, it's commonality. Many people use AA batteries for radios or other electronics, so using AAs in the sight means one less part to tote around.

wow - better then i had expected, this sight kicks ass. It has 20 brightness settings, and the view is so sweet, along with the reticle. Great sight- A, just mounted it on my p90. - bushnell holosight(n-type battery)
- holographic sight: the red dot moves with your eyes, it doies not stay in the same place. So instead of lining up your eye to it. The holographic scopes move the reticle as your eye moves, it is so great. - ;D
