well, i got myself volunteered for the tango dept too and i ordered a shemagh to try and get into "character" for the part. i've spent the last week trying to tie it on properly? just can't get it right ,even with very specific directions i found online? i guess real tango's don't need directions!! my only comfort is that a lot of our operators in the middle east have taken to wearing them to blend in with the locals and they offer some face protection from the wind and sand. now, if i can just get my accent together when i yell "ALAHH-ACKBAR"!! geeezzzzz!!!!

Any chance of opening up the Law Enforcement/Terrorist password protected threads? I'd like to have a chance to discuss tactics, uniforms, etc.

People have mistaken me for a druggy at worst. Darn you guys for putting such a lable on me ...haha, I kid, I kid. I sorta like Arc's idea though I feel its kinda too late and kinda pointless. Uniforms are going to be kinda basic and what is the point of having people discuss strat when it all falls apart in combat? I'd love to park my car inside, any tarp though to protect it better from impacts? I kinda don't carry any and I already have a few dents from prev. games (Gotta love the 2001 Ford Taurus).

Uniforms are going to be kinda basic and what is the point of having people discuss strat when it all falls apart in combat? Really, the only reason that the thought came up was the uniforms. The only way to recognize a "bad guy" is his (or her) face covering, and it's been recommended that everyone wear one. And of course, you're going to get some of the terrorists in their operator gear. thoughts?

I think it would be suitable for all of us that are playing the OPFOR (terrorists) to just wear some jeans and a non traditional military shirt or jacket (i.e. no U.S. woodland camo) if you have a DCU shirt or something that is not traditional woodland or SWAT black or navy. If you cant find a shemagh but want to look the role just go to a local fabric store and buy a square yard of a cotton linen (its cheap this time of year). Also if you need help wrapping your shemagh do a google search for SHEMAGH and the first one to pop up is an instructional one fron ACTIONGEAR aka brigade quartermasters.

Heh, I have OD, TigerStripe, Woodland, Desert choc chip, British DPM, British Desert DPM, and a variety of ECWCS.
Rogue1, it took me 2 freaking days to tie the Shemagh right, I'll be glad to help you when I get there.

Black Mesa Airsoft is going to be bringing their wares to this event. I'll let Devil Dog answer as to what products he's bringing for sale, but I'd imagine that gas and bb's will be at the top of his list.

I'm bringing a case of Toy-Tec's .2's to the event. 3800 rds per bag, 15.00 a bag. It's a great price for the amount, and the quality is great also.
