Yes, all TM and AE parts are interchangable. (though it think the body screws and gearbox screws are different).
I have a 3-point and I like it a lot. I would suggest getting other improvements before doing anything cosmetic. Maybe a few more mags and a 120% spring?

Sick-I have 5 mags in all, and 4 pockets on my tac vest. So I have one in the gun and pockets full. Having an empty pocket or two would stink. My AE mags fit perfectly in both AE and TM guns, Hadoken even used one of my AE mags at the first skirmish. Ed-the AE guns have a quick-takedown setup, and the screws and everything about the body screws are different than the TM. I compared mine with Hadoken's.

Ok I'm probably gonna do that. Newman would you mind if I followed your trend and got that nifty little load bearing vest of yours?

Ahahahahhha.
It turns out that I followed Hadoken by buying that vest, mine is almost the same as his, or very close to it!
Buy the vest, and we'll be THE THREE AMIGOS!
;D ;D

Aww man, I wanted to be Chevy Chase! Guess I'll have to be Steve Martin. Aah well. The LBV I have is ok, just not really what I was looking for. I'll probably be getting a Blackhawk tactical vest soon. The LBV just doesn't feel right on me, can't get comfortable.

LBV=load bearing vest
Aah it's not that bad I guess, does help hold my pistolbelt/G18 and distributes the weight of my gear more evenly.
I'll let ye try it on for size at the skirmish.

I have an LBV now too ;D Snagged one of the commercially made ones on ebay for 19 bucks, it's camo too. I haven't really tried it out much yet, but my AUG mags do fit in the pockets, so I'm happy. The only problem is that my belly makes the buckles kind of tight, hehe

Minky-it's going to be funny seeing you at the skirmish, because your LBV is too small for you, and mine is waaay too big. Actually, it's probably the right size for everyone in the world except for skinny ol' Newman.

See, it's more a case of me being too big for the vest ;D I have nothing else to say. I think I need to go on the Newman diet or something. Hopefully I won't have a heart attack or anything at the skirmish...

First step of the Newman diet:
Gain weight
Second step of the Newman diet:
Gain lots of weight
I'm not kidding, either, guys. Those are my actual diet steps right now.

Hmm, guess I better do the anti-Newman diet then if that's how it goes...
