Don’t forget about the incorrect width of your beautiful SR25. I think I covered it with this... This looks exactly like a real steel SR-25, except for the length of the receiver. At the time I put this together the G&P SR-25 metal receiver was not available. Now it is, which would make this thing virtually indistinguishable from the real weapon. The G&P receiver is the last part necessary to complete the transformation. Its project guns like this one that you hate to part with, but I've got other airsoft projects that need funding. And just think, the lucky buyer will have a spare DTP metal body on his/her hands if they decide to swap it for the G&P receiver. That DTP rocks.

When you were saying length I figured from the beginning of the stock to the beginning of the fore grip. Even with the G&P SR-25 metal receiver I believe the width dimensions are still incorrect because simply it has to accommodate the gear box and fit “right” with the larger pistol grip because the grip houses the motor. But enough being technical… its uber leet!!!!111!

Dose the stock scope on the aug [military] work? Is it real? Definatly not for sniping. Although you can get the Civilian style and put some upgrades on it which would be another ball park, definately out of mine.

NOTHING! In my book beats a nice upgraded m24 with a scope the size of a watermelon on it.... (for looks anyway)
But taking shot after shot at poor suckers with an SR-25 would be pretty freaking SWEET!
I sometimes get the (mis)illusion that bolt action rifles are more accurate that Semi Auto ones... (i think thats how it is with real steels anyway)
