Gun Handling Lesson #1: Always treat any projectile as if it was a real fire arm. Always act as if its always loaded. So I have my Maruzen APS-2 SV. I place a mag with a handfull of BBs in it. Shooting inside the house. I get a jam, no big deal. Pull the bolt back, push the cleaning rod threw and out comes a BB, look at the mag and its empty, with the gun in my lamp on a slightly upward angle(from using the unjamming rod) I discharge the rifle to take the stress of the trigger and to relax the bolt. Whats that? Sound of glass breaking? What the?! Thats right... a second BB was stuck in the hop-up, pushed the light cloth windowblind aside that there to filter light so its not so bright, punched a hole threw the "Plastic" sheet acting as a primary windowblind, and knocked a hole in the window about the size of a BB but knocking in enough glass that slightly smaller than the size of half of silver dollar coin. Bye Bye saved airsoft money. ..... Gun Handling Lesson #1 .....Always treat any projectile as if it was a real fire arm. Always act as if its always loaded.... damn it... Care to See? Hey! You learned that lesson pretty much the same way I did six years ago. ;D Just be thankful you learned it with airsoft and not real steel. A broken window is a cheap lesson, but one you'll not forget. My own experience went something like this... pulled my APS from its case, started fiddling with the scope, aimed it at the kitchen window so I could sight-in on a distant fence, put my finger on the trigger, started to take up the slack and wondered to myself, "I know I didn't cock this thing, why is the trigger stiff?" Turns out the trigger was stiff because it was cocked, locked, and loaded. *Snap* *Crackle* * Pop* and my kitchen window looked like the one in your pic.

I have nothing else to say. Wow. Your lucky you dont live in a city like I do. I scoped real steal only at the range. Why where you scoping it in on your house. I guess I have no room to talk sense I did shoot my window out.

Oh I see, I just wasn't paying close attention to the beginning. All I saw was "real steel" and your explanation of your story. Sorry.

Yea, well i didn't break a window... But, i had my Classic Army M15A4. And i was walking round the backyard shooting stuff. Then i don't know what the hell i was thinking. But, i stuck my finger in the barrel to listen to the muffle sound. didn't think there was a bb in their. And i shot my freakin finger. Big ass Blood Blister.

I did that too. The very first game I had my SAW with me, I had a horrendous jam in the boxmag. After fixing it, I kept playing and at one point I had thought it was jammed again so I put my hand in front of the muzzle. Thank goodness for gloves.

I've made the same or worse mistakes, I'd rather not talk about them but it's the same general principle.
