It was saturday afternoon roughly an hour before dark in Norhtern Mi. My buddy Matt and I were at war, this particular battle though the rules were 2 vs. 10, eveyrone verses us. I was armed with an ICS M4, matt was carrying a ICS SD6, we also both carried side arms. rules were we had to assault the hill and eliminate all 10 of the OPFOR. They were armed with G36c's, P90's, rem 700's, shotguns, and all carried side arms.
The hill seems more like a mountain, its big. you can either assault it head on and hope you get lucky, or you can try to go around and up the backside. Normally matt and I would slowly work our way around eliminating the enemy one man at a time, but this time for some reason we went all out...we felt invincible. We began to attack the enemy head on, they were caught off guard. they assumed we would never attack head on, it would be suicide. I looked over to signal him of a sniper nest at 3 oclock from his current pos, he gave me a look that only meant what were we thinking. I signaled him to hold and I lit up the snipers nest with a short burst, sniper called himself out. we continued a soldier here and their, eventually we ended on a red pine ridge; facing a (p90 Mike) and a (g36c Tim). we couldnt see the enemy but we knew who was left. We reverted to a tactic we dont normally use, matt drew fire upon himself creating a target for the enemy and as they revealed their positions I placed a 3 to 4 shot burst in mikes chest and a similar burst to the back of Tims collar bone. It was great and afterward people were suprised at the guts some said stupidity that we showed.
