Sunday battle - well conflict:)

Well I haven't put much of anything into this catagory so I figured I would share a little story from yesterday that I found entertaining.

I had a guy looking at getting into airsoft stop by yesterday while we were playing a quick 1 vs. 1(those of you who know me, should know most of the time this is what I'm restricted to till more people near me get some guns, or I get some more guns), anyways we were getting some game on. He shows up and needs a gun, since I have one AEG right now and my brother has one, and I have 2 GBB's, he takes my M16. So we go out to play and we were running 2 vs. 1 due to the fact that I was running my glock 18c and my 19, and with temps where they have been thats not a good combination. I had a hand warmer in one pocket to keep a mag warm, and one in my BDU pocket to keep another one marginally warm, and one in the 19 in case I had to shoot before I could pull a mag. So we're playing and it's rather hilly where we play most of our 1 on 1 games. Me and my brother were advancing down the hill from cover to cover. The new guy pulls up and takes a couple shots at me, and I dive for some cover, JT(my brother) returns fire, as I move from cover to another peice of cover. As I moved ahead I got in a good position to shoot, as the other guy was moving to new cover he looked at me and decided I wasn't a threat with my glock only and shitty gas, he started to pull and stood there for a second, decided not to shoot just as I fired 3 rounds from about 35 yards, and took at least 1-2 to center body mass:) It was rather interesting though the rest of the day neither of them underestimated the cold weather and my glock again:)

So yeah not trying to brag I know damn well I'm not the best shot with a pistol but I found it entertaining enough to share.

That is a sweet story. It reminds me of the time we were taking heavy fire and I grabbed my brother and threw him in front of me.

Cold weather gas gun usage is one hell of an interesting phenomenon. My wierdest kill in airsoft was when i was using my glock 19 in 40 or so degree weather. Without going into the details, i had both legs shot out and was origianlly out on my own with a pistol. It wasn't shooting too well, seeing as how there was probably still some frost on the ground around noon that day. the guy guarding me wasn't paying attention to me while i warmed up my mag. I got one shot, it couldn't have been more than 150 fps. that bb really floated to him. He saw it coming the whole way but just couldn't react. i think i was about 30-40 feet away from him. the slide didn't have enough power to go all the way back, so it sort of sat there half open releasing all of my gas. The guy that I shot was just like, "Ok, what? That...no!" I started crawling away (no legs remember). I didn't make it too far before the rest of the OpFor caught up to me and killed me, but that's not the point. The slow-motion bb killing the guy is. It was funny.

Cool story. I also have a KSC G19 and sometimes ppl think that they can't get hit by it at mediocre distances but then when they get 2-3 into them they change their minds.
