Unfortunately, there aren't too many options out there for the MP-001 because it is a clone of a very popular rifle, however, they didn't make it an *exact* copy, so those normal parts do not fit. However, EdGI does manufacture some upgrades for it, they are in the UK though I beleive, and I don't know the website off the top of my head, but I suspect if you google it, you will be able to find a site that sells them.
But as always, if you truly would like an upgraded sniper rifle, I highly suggest purchasing the TM Gspec, CA M24, or and Maruzen, they are really in a world of their own comparitively.

I agree with tex, yes the Mp-001 is an ok clone. But not to many upgrade options. You are better off trying to get a High end Sniper Rifle. In fact i think Tex was selling a Maruzen Sniper rifle. The price may be a bit high. But, that's what happens when you want to make a beautiful rifle, it is all upgraded.

From what I have read, it has a closed cylinder. Or whatever houses the spring, piston and whatnot. The JG BAR-10 is the only ACM sniper worth mentioning.

You can get an EdGi Upgrade kit for it like big texas said. It comes with a 6.01 tightbore, upgraded sears, and a new cylinder kit. It also comes with 2 springs that are rated at like 525 fps and 585 fps or something like that. Unfortunatly it is about 200 bucks which means its not really worth it. Another thing you could do is get a VSR-10 zero trigger and aps2 bolt internals. But even with either of those your left with a crappy gun.
