Well folks, I ordered a JG Bar 10 from Airsoft GI last Friday and it took exactly one week to get here. Not bad for as busy as I'm sure UPS must be this time of year. It is a real beauty, with a rubbery finish, like the Echo 1 SOC 16. I got the rifle, mag, cleaning rod and a 3-9 x 40 mm variable, Lighted Reticle, mil dot with a cool set of lines for holdover at longer ranges. Some assembly required. When I get this rifle all running I will post on here how it chronos. I will check the fps stock and keep a log of how it improves when I do mods. Any questions, fire away. I'll keep tabs on this post. Now I have to get serious about building a Ghillie Suit. Have a good one, Diewalker.

Cool Diewalker I will have to check it out. I just ordered the CAW ATS Shotgun last night form ASGI. I am thinking I may pick up the G-Spec version of the BAR 10.

I am hoping to get a chance to get the Chrony out tomorrow and get some fps readings in it's stock form. Crimson Falcon on ASR has an excellent review and mods post on this Rifle. With cutting the airbrake down by more than half and electrical tape on the nozzle in a couple of places, he has it shooting over 500 fps. Not bad for a gun I paid $115.00 with Free Shipping to boot. I'll keep you posted on the results. See you down the trail. Diewalker.

Blag, the weather's been so crappy and I've been busy but I'm hoping tomorrow I can get the chrono out and see. I'm shooting 55 feet down the basement and holding under 3 inch groups. I'm shooting at a Gateway computer box, plenty heavy duty and a few of the rounds punched through BOTH sides of that box! Then they ricochet around the basement for a bit. It shoots nice. It's rock solid and works as advertisedl I'll get those fps numbers posted as soon as I get them. Later, Diewalker.

I have the BAR 10 and in stock form it chron'd at MOA at 440. After the airbrake and tape mod the next time at MOA it was 490ish. I love it. I just put the zero trigger, new piston, 6.03 tightbore and a 170 spring, new hop up bucking, shoots 545 at MOA. for $115 450-490fps is pretty sweet. I love it.

I have a little issue with some curve right, well actually it is more of a hook. I have been playing with the barrel to see if it was turned just a little and what not. It does do the same thing every time though. I hit two guys out at docs place from close to 210 feet though. I have been going back and forth from the pink flying colors .3 and tsd .28s. So I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

The Airbrake mod is fairly easy, however, I don't know if there is any long-term negatives of that particular mod.
All reviews I've seen show it as being your best bet for a Clone Sniper Rifle. If you must get a clone rifle, get this one. I still highly recommend saving up for a maruzen, though.

Is the gun a full clone of a marui vsr-10,So you can upgrade it with marui parts?
