me and my spotter just use a notebook, all the other stuff is a little crazy tho.
and i have a question.
i too am a L-96 lover. however, i have the version by AGM. i know its not a discussion of diferent l-96 rifles, but is there realy a huge difference? mine fires 450 out of the box, and i know where to get the upgrades for it to make it better... however, the AGM version is heavier, and has a hard draw back on the bolt. so is it just personal pref on the L-96's? or is there really something major diff about maruzen's? (iv'e used mine for seeral months now, and its still perfect)

Wow, that question is almost insulting.
Use the shift key nerevar, at the beginning of a sentence and when using the letter 'i' to refer to yourself.
The AGM L-96 is a hunk of junk. The internals are all made out of extremely cheap material and will break. Soon. You may have gotten lucky with one that has lasted a little while, but regardless, you still own a large paper weight. The maruzen has high quality parts. Extremely high quality, as in, when you upgrade it, $1000 worth of quality parts into it. The difference? Accuracy, consistency, reliability.
Since installing my Zero trigger and Steel Bolt handle... I've not had a single problem with my rifle. Maybe a hopup adjustment was needed, but that's the only thing. It's built like a tank.
What do you honestly think is better? Something that cost you $100, or something that cost you $1000? Plus, who wants a hard bolt draw back?! Not me! It's just the price I pay for 550fps!

Your AGM is heavier because it comes with a scope and Bipod.
I have said it before, "450fps out of the box" only lasts a couple hours.

agm is also heavier due to blocks of cement inside of it to add weight, whereas the maruzen uses good, thick metal for its parts. just saying
