Well My mp-001 is a great gun. Recently i have been having some issues with it. When i pull the bolt back sometimes it will work. After 2 or so shots... When i go to cock it the bolt fly back up and shoots. Very strange. Any help?

im thinking that your trigger sears may be worn out.

right. those metal things with the stuff in it... those are just the electric guns.
spring bolt action guns only have a piston assembly (basically what the bolt is) and a trigger mechanism. take the stock off the gun and the trigger group should be exposed (ive never taken one of these guns apart but im asuming that it is basically the same as most bolt actions)
what you should find are three parts that make the gun shoot. a little notch on the trigger itself, the sear and then the part that connects/disconects the sear to the spring inside the bolt. my best guess is that the piece that connects and disconects the spring is worn away.

The three main parts of a trigger assembly are: 1. The "Piston Sear" 2. The "Trigger Sear" 3. The "Spring Guide Stopper" They all can be seen here: The most common problem with guns that are not upgraded, is that the springs which make the piston sear pop back up and catch the piston get stuck in the wrong position and no longer push the piston sear back up. To fix it... well, you really should have someone who knows triggers fix it because in the proccess of repairing it you can do some major damage to your trigger assembly. I'm 99% sure you have the problem I described as that is precisely what it sounds like.

When i go to cock it the bolt fly back up and shoots. Very strange. Any help? Did you open the gun up at all? If so did you remove the trigger assembly from it? Because I do believe they are a replica of the Maruzen APS-2 SV//UTG M243 "Master Sniper". There is a small spring were the piston sear is and this is what catches the spring in the cylinder when you pull the bolt back. You have to make sure that the 2 spring "legs" are opposite of each other. Example: one forwards and one back. This makes equal "tension" on the piston sear and allows it to catch after more than one or two pulls on the bolt. This is the same problem I had when I was upgrading my Maruzen APS-2 SV. Sorry if this is incorrect and if you dont know how to breakdown the rifle or put it back together I dont suggest looking at it alone. You could take it to a place like EmpireAirsoft (Young's Army Navy Surplus) and have them take it apart a look into it.

Livonia had the same problem way back when. The place there the piston caught on the sear was completely mangled.

If you can take picture of it it would help. It sounds like the sear isn't catching is all and something in the trigger assembly needs some tinkering.
