first, i love mp5s.
second i have some money burning a hole in my pocket that i earmarked for a spring mp5. after much dilberation(always wanted to say that), ive settle on one of these two. lastly i will be only shooting .12g rounds out of the gun so take that into account and it will be for defense. ps both are at a local store so ignore shiping if it becomes a conflict.

Skip the tippmann version, but go for the original UHC mp5. It's always been considered one of the best low grade springers made. If you'll be satisfied by any springer, that't the one that'll satisfy you. The Tippmann version will probably be over priced, and may be a different, lower quality model than the UHC. And if it's identical, it's not like you'll be missing out by not having the tippmann sticker on the box.

Then go with the one that we know is quality, the UHC. Again, who knows if Tippman is getting the same guns, of it they're not getting the reject models or something. You don't get anything extra if you get the Tippmann. But you know you're getting one of the best lower-grade springers on the market if you go with the UHC.
Also, "there" refers to a location or is used as a dummy subject. You want the contraction "they're," which is a combination of "they" and "are." "They are both $40" is what you're going for, so "There both $40" makes absolutely no sense. There's also "their," which is the possesive "they." (The last sentence is an example of "there" as a dummy subject.) You use "their" when you're talking about something that multiple people own. "My parents won't let me take their car out tonight."

I owned the UHC pump mp5. Great springer. you can remove the pumping part so that its like a real mp5. The Tipmann one you're talking about is this right? Its a rebranded UHC. my friend got it and it snapped in half the first day. www.airsplat.com/Items/AR-UA-312.htm

Here's a note on the UHC mp5, the mags have no catch to stop the bb's from pouring out of them. If your going for a cheap springer mp5 buy the UTG one, it's only $10 more.

My friend has the UHC and it's still a hard hitter, the mags do have a catch you just have to pull the spring down from the mag so it doesn't slip up.

No, I mean that there is nothing on the mag to hold the bbs in, if tipped they'll pour out.
