Well i have searched around but i cant seem to find an answer to this. I am going to buy a m324 but i want to buy a tightbore to save one shipping at the same time.
Does anyone know if a regular AEG tightbore will work in the m324?

If you have access to a lathe it is possible to modify one to fit, I know that there was a store that sold custom barrels for this type of rifle. But I don't know the site.

I have seen a picture of the barrel, and i cant tell for sure, but it looks like there is no "hole" in one end. I might just buy the longer one and cut the end with the "hole" so that there is no hole. Wow i just solved my own problem, sorry guys.

M324 barrels have a grove that runs around one end of the barrel for it to mount in the hop-up chamber. The hole in AEG barrels where the bucking comes out was moved to a black plastic cap that fits around the end M324 barrels. Cutting the end of an AEG barrel off wouldn't completely fix the problem. The outer diameter of AEG barrels is slightly larger than the M324 barrel. You would have to cut a groove into the barrel, shave out some of the plastic cap, and shave down the inside of the barrel spacer. If you have access to a lathe, it would go much more smoothly then when I attempted it with a dremel. Gimme a sec, I might be able to find that tightbore for it. EDIT: I couldn't find the actual store that makes the tightbores (DB- made custom 6.01 mm tightbores for AEGs and sniper rifles) but I found several places that sell them. www.hobbytron.com/601mmUpgradeAirsoftSniperRifleTightBoreBarrelUTGM324M6Super9.html

If you do go with the DB 6.01mm, there's a great step by step guide to installing it with tons of pics at airsoft retreat: www.airsoftretreat.com/forums/index.php?topic=13771.0However, that's for the UTG m324. I'm not sure if that'd make a huge difference, but I just thought I'd help.

Don't forget your Teflon, more pressure is the key to more FPS with those M324's.

Now you should go buy some Camouflage Tape from Walmart, it works really well with a M324 Barrel (Sense it's flat with no addons or anything) and that thing is a stealth bomb of accurate BLAM. (Or something like that.)
