I am looking for a sniper but i have been torn between the usr and the m24. I read into the m24 and heard negatives about the screws and what not and that a person should wait until the version 3 comes out. Does anyone know anything about the version 3? The hfc has had some pretty decent reviews but i havent been able to find many. I have listed below upgrades that i would purchase for the usr, is there anything i am missing or anything i should get rid of? Also, how reliable will this combo be with this gun. Thanks.
HFC USR-11
Laylax VSR-10 150SP Spring upgrade
Laylax VSR-10 High Pressure Piston s/silent shaft
Laylax VSR-10 Spring Guide w/bearing
Laylax VSR-10 Cylinder Head
Laylax VSR-10 First Sear
Deep Fire Reinforced Sear Assembly (for use with upgraded springs)

I had a CA M24, complete junk. It worked decent enough with the gas cylinder but once I dropped a full tune bolt from AE it snapped the cocking handle. And at that time there was no replacements to be found, anywhere. I've never heard anything about a V3, but it would be pretty hard for me to trust it.

Keep in mind that a CA M24 is completely compatible with any stock/after market products that are produced for a Maruzen APS2

thanks jump, i appreciate it. now to the hfc, i guess what im really asking is how reliable is the stock and what not because i am planning on upgrading most, if not all of the insides and i just want to make sure that the gun will hold together. any insight would be greatly appreciated.

i say skip out on the Laylax first sears cause the deep fire kit has the same part in it. then go with a lengthened tightbore barrel and a Zero trigger pack (youd be suprised how sore your trigger finger will get when you squeeze off a bunch of rounds with a gun like that upgraded how you want it and you would be suprized on how much of a differance it really makes to the trigger pull). and then get a silencer to hide the barrel extention i did all those to my older CA M24 and the thing is great. one more thing. the HFC VSR-11 is the exact same thing as the Tokyo Mauri VSR-10. the only problem is that you get people like me that are pureists and start disliking the people who buy knockoffs. i noticed that your from Lake Orion? thats like 5 minutes away from me, do you play anyware nearby?

Eh? Finger gets sore? BULLSHIT PRIVATE! The trigger pull on any highly upgraded sniper rifle I've shot that does not have a Zero Trigger, is still pretty light. If your finger gets sore... you are shooting to much.

well then the rifles you were shooting probably had the trigger sears worn down more than mine. when i shoot my rifle, it was about a 10 pound trigger pull and then once the trigger was pulled, it would bounce back a little. i would typically shoot about 20 rounds as a sniper *max* with that rifle. the only downside of being a sniper i guess, not that much action...
