I've been really impressed with the TM shotguns. Having owned a few gas shotguns and never been around the TM line, I was very surprised at their performace. 3 BBs per shot, and a tight grouping at that. The build quality is decent, although I don't know much about the SPAS, only the M3s. If you have reasons to use it (mainly close quarters, no large field playing) then I would say go for it.

When I used a TM spas12 I found that it was difficult to cock, because of the odd shape of the slide, mabey its just me. But that just my opinion, it really is a good gun if you can just learn to cock it right.
*edit* Smokeys makes front handgrips to solve that problem.

So would it be a good choice over a tm aeg?

Nothing is a good choice over an AEG really. If you want a shotty though, get the M3 not the SPAS. If you are really cheap, get the UTG Maruzen knock-off. It's one bb, but its pretty much a sniper rifle in shotgun form.

Amen to that. I shot my friend from a good 15-20 feet away, and without aming, hit him in the face through a slit on my deck while running.
