f37.aaa.livedoor.jp/~beretta/beretta2.htmlThere are some pics of the original super 9 (that UHC copied) and did not change much at all. This, and the maruzen pump action KG9 were some of the first airsoft guns. The Super 9 was first made by tatatoku toys, in the late 70s, tatatoku went out of business, then marukoshi went and made SS9s. The SS9 was the premier spring sniper rifle for a LONG time in Japan, and many are still used today at game sites. In fact, before maruzen's APS came along in like 1994, it was current. There were still ads for parts for it in ARMS magazine and the like in 1998. What does this mean? It means we should start rethinking the S9. The Japanese managed to upgrade and use it a long time. So, a lot of the faults are not really UHC's fault. The gun has been unchanged for over 20 years... It's like a living fossil. thank Joe W. for this.

What I think he means is that the scope should be mounted a lot further up, like most regular scopes are now a days.
