Hello, I have some questions, and have done searches on them with little results.
1. What would I need to upgrade a vsr-10 Real Shock to ~350-380fps (PARTS).
2. Will the Harris bi-pod fit, if so where can I buy one, for a good price.
3. If you can include prices I would be thankful.
4. After I get the ~350-380fps upgrade, would you guys recommend using .20 or .25g bb's?
Edit: I found the bi-pod for $70. HBLM - Extends 9" to 13" with Leg Notches Retail Price $76.95 . . . . . . . . . . .our discounted price $69.25
But now my question is, will I need any adapter or anything to be able to mount it?
My main question is, can I put a spring in my vsr-10 for ~350fps, will just the spring? Or will I need sears, cylinder, etc?

why just 350? ?? Its a sniper rifle, at least push it up to something around 450. Im not sure of the spring you would need, but to get the best over all performance and reliability, you would need a new piston, a new cylinder head, and a new piston and trigger sear. At 350 FPS, you will be lucky to be keeping up with the upgraded AEG's, and *most* sharpshooters have their guns to at least ~450 plus to get the range needed. <edit> oh and yes, the harris will fit just fine </edit>

I only want 350fps because of the people I play with. I have a stock AE mp5-a4, my friend has a stock CA m15a4 and my other friend has a Spets with m100 spring. I play in my backyard, so all we need is 350fps, anything higher would be very bad, seeing as my backyard is only about an acre, max range. Most shooting is done with about 50ft or less, so it's more CQB than anything.
Now, does anyone know the spring I would need? (Laylax 100, 110, or 120)?
Also, will the Harris bi-pod fit WITHOUT any mounts or such, or do I also need to purcahse those?
And lastly, can someone give me a link to the parts I would need, that would help me greatly, seeing as I know nothing to be looking for. Also, would I need all the stuff, piston, cylinder, trigger sear. Or could I get away with only the spring and whatever else (only a MUST).

get the 110, that would put you around 350-360.
You wont need any extra parts if your gonna stay that low for upgrades.

Just the spring? That wont warp the cylinder or anything? Sorry if I sounded like a noob. I'm new to bolt actions, so I'm still learning the in's and out's . So, what about the bi-pod? Can I just get that, or will I need mounts as well? And another thing, does anyone know where I can get a Laylax PSS10 110 spring Stateside? I know PE USA has them, but anywhere else?

1: you dont need mounts for the bi pod. 2: what ever you see on www.redwolfairsoft.com you can get from black mesa airsoft for about the same price. PM Devil Dog if your interested in anything

um.. you will want a pss10 120 spring... that will put you at maybe 400, but i would hightly reccomend not getting the NEO piston... its lasts as long as the stock one

I'm pretty sure it's clear he wants to stay at about 350.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the vsr-10 stock shoots about 270-280fps, same as a stock TM gun. And yes, I'm sticking to 350fps because my friends dont want to get shot with 400fps from 50ft away.

I am pretty sure insane owns one as well. Or if he did enough researching about owning a gun, then he would know. Sorry Gestapo you are wrong. I even researched this: Specs of a VSR-10 Real Shock: Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Real Shock MG300 Features: * Wood Look Resin Stock * Metal Barrel * Spring Cocking Specifications: * Length: 1075mm * Weight: 4.4lbs * Capacity: 30 rds * FPS: 275 Was taken directly from Precision Airsoft

i said basically.... i did not mention that i think its rather pointless to have a 350 fps rifle because all you have to do is put a pss10 100 spring in it and it will buy you about 50 fps, yeah andrew when i pulled my gun out of the box my gun shot farther than a 350 fps aeg. and with .25's i think it would have the same hurt factor as an aeg running 350 with .20's
sorry for any confusion but if i were you i would keep the gun stock if you dont want a powerful rifle becuase you will still outrun your friends stock aeg's

you will need a sling thing on the stock, its a little black nud with a hol in it and you screw that into the stock. the harris bipod will work in there thats all.. i believe my harris bipod came with it.. i dont remember though
Your friends need to live a little.. its fun... I have a Sun Project M40XB that i dont mind getting shot with..
