I want to install some tight bore barrels on my TM SPAS, but it is my first kinda big time Airsoft gun(decided against AEG due to lack of people to play with), so I have never taken any gun apart myself, or installed anything. I mostly want to know what it is I would need to do to install these? I heard the Spas is a b!tch to take apart and whatnot, so does it have to be disassembled in order to install them(or it, I mostly just want to do the middle barrel so I keep the spread)? How difficult would it be?

um, i dont think you can get a tightbore on a shotgun, only AEG's and sniper rifles. the hopup is a ton different on an AEG than it is on one of those shotguns and would not allow you to have the tightbore barrel, and yes, they are a bitch to take appart.

actually, some of the larger sites (mainly WGC) do in fact sell tightbore barrels for the TM shotguns, however the spas 12 is EXTREMLY hard to take apart without damaging anything and from the few people who manage to install them the performance increase is minimal. in my oppinon buy some extra shells or better yet save for an AEG

Actually, I recently started a very well paying job, and don't even really need to save if I want an AEG anymore. But I don't want one. The majority of the games I play are against one person, and he has a TM spring XM1....whatever(the spring M4 that is somewhat rare these days). Even when I do play against AEGs, I am just fine with the Spas. It may be at a disadvantage ROF wise, but it also has it's advantages, such as hardly ever having to reload, and the awesome(and inevitable) moments when your opponent does. It is just wise to refrain from engaging multiple AEG toters, and not to miss your first shot.
BUt anyways, those times are rare, and I'm not about to buy an AEG to play against even the best of springers(aside from shotties and sniper rifles). I also find the Spas even more fun. It just feels cool dealing with the shells, and racking the pump and all. Not to mention, shotguns are my favorite type of firearm, with the Spas being my favorite gun period. So I am just fine using a replica of my favorite(for the time being) gun, and would not trade it for any AEG, because I like the Spas just fine, and neither want or need an AEG right now.
But anyways, WGC does carry them, I was just curious as to if I would need to disassemble the gunw hich I knew was difficult. Thanks for the info though.
