No offense DD, but saying a Super 9 and a VSR-10 are both springers is like saying a Porsche and a Yugo are both cars. This may be true, but this new Super 9 looks very interesting.

Very true Jacko! I agree with you totally. The Super 9 has little or no upgrade ability. I was just pointing out that they were both springers.
I know people always bash on those who own Super 9's... But it's a inexpensive rifle for those who are new to the sport to buy. It allows them a minimal investment to find out if this is the sport for them. I'm sure everyone has owned something that they aren't real proud of (I had a Super 9 and a couple of EBB's when I first started playing Airsoft... For about 2 weeks before I bought my first AEG).
I'm just curious to see how the new version is going to compare with the higher quality TM's. Hopefully UHC has taken a few lessons from their competitors.

Lies! I started with a TM MP5 SD5 and a KSC M93R II, both of which I still own, and have since added a TM M4 too

i will say, the most "high grade" rifles on the market right now have very light bolt pull, the L96's bolt is just as easy as a real bolt, its very clean and easy. the TM-Gspec (i won one) is very easy to pull, and i have pulled the bolt back on the peice of shit 9 and it is 3x harder to pull back, might i add my Gspec is upgraded very high.
the longest shot i have ever made with my rifle was a 55-60 yard neck shot with a .28 bb, with the hopup barely on. i was thinking of putting a 555mm barrel on my gun but i thought it redundant.

Well I just think that the super pro 9 is a very good gun for the price you pay. I haven't had a problem with it yet

My Upgraded Sun Project M40 XB is easier to bolt back than my old Shitter 9.. I dont know why i bought the stupid thing. but i thought that was the only sniper airsoft rifle out there at the time..

I bought a super 9 just for the hell of it and laughs. What a waste of time that was (thought it would be worth upgrading at least). The thing only shoots 240fps stock, accuracy is only good with those fake casings instead of the 20 or so round tube thingy and thats not saying a lot, shells get annoying and the thing just felt like crap. Overall you'll get more moneys worth out of a springer pistol. Heck, buying a super9 is like asking someone just to take ~80 bucks out of your wallet.
I hate to hear that there is a lot of good hype about the new super 9 coming out. The thing is, compared to the old one, you can get so much more with just 20 bucks and in a compact size. I'm not going to buy it even if it gets good reviews seeing how people still think the old one is worth anything (no offense to anyone, just pissed UHC is still out there).

As much as I don't want to, I have to agree with you. ANYTHING cybergun makes is worse than the pooper 9

I must disagree in some aspects:
UHC spring pistols have pretty good performance compared to more generic material, like my M9 worked pretty flawlessly up until I broke a field stripping pin fiddling around with it too much. This was after around one or two years without any problems, so it should last you a fair amount of time, versus a friend's HFC P8 which broke within a few weeks. I believe the case is that UHC basically copies Marui designs.
Also, the auto hardball (Cybergun) seems to be pretty decent for what you pay for: a pump action shotty that isn't astronomically expensive like TM's models.
That being said, perhaps the new Super 9 will be a copy of the VSR 10, and should have better performance as such? We can really only speculate until it comes out.
In conclusion- for the most part, you get what you pay for. Sure we can rag on the lower end of the spectrum of airsoft guns, but they are what they are - lacking in quality sometimes, but cheap.
