Well, ma other thread got locked before I could ask this other probably stupid question, but oh well.
First off, thanks a lot Knief, for the info, and links. Greatly appreciated.
This "G-17" I found on "Plycon's Armoury" I am pretty sure is a Glock, right? And if so, I have not seen a so called "long" version before. Is it a great deal longer then the other ones, and would it fit in the average holsters that are sold for around $10-$15? If so, despite it being above my intended price range, Imma have to get it for sure, because tho expensive, and lightweight, it has the accuracy I so desperately seek. So, could anyone help me out?

an extra inch on the end wont help accuracy at all, so if you dont like the look of it, dont just buy it cuz its longer
on another note, sinces its about as slim as a colt, id say yes, as long as there is an opening in the botton of the holster, it would fit

I don't know about that, Boanerge. An extra inch on a 5 inch barrel is a lot. On a GBB, it can increase the velocity a fairly significant amount. It definitely won't be as dramatic on a springer, but it could add some (assuming the volume of the cylinder is still greater than that of the barrel, which is what I would expect from Marui). The acceleration rate of the bb is still going to be the same, and it accelerates over a greater distance. Put those together and you get a higher velocity. Look at it this way: if you floor your car (release the spring and piston in the gun) for 500m (5in), you're going to hit a certain speed. Now, if you floor it for 600m (5+1 extra), you're going to be going faster, right? This is all in theory. Who knows how consistent TM even is with their springers.
But you are right, regardless of the extra performance he may or may not get, he shouldn't buy a gun that he doesn't like asthetically.

Alright, thanks a lot yo. I wasn't going to buy it because it was longer, in fact, I prefer the shorter stuff. But all the reviews I have read, including the thread right above this(the sticky), say this is about the most accurate, and probably best spring pistol there is. So, considering that not one review disagreed, Imma trust em.

yea i guess your right knief, and i guess accuracy would matter a lot for a pistol for him, because im assuming hes a newbie, and hed be using this as his main weapon

Right, right, and wrong.
Yeah, Imma "noob", and yes, accuracy does matter quite a bit for me. It will still only be a sidearm though. Primary for the time being will be the TM SPAS-12. PA is sold out of that gun now anyways, so I guess since I have to order elsewheres, and spend a couple extra bucks anyways, I'll go with the meaner lookin shorter Glock.
