I got one of these the past week for kicks, but I was hoping to mount it on my M733 for the Masterkey look. I see two screws in the pistol grip: if I remove those can I just take the grip by itself out, and if so will it impact the performance of the rest of the gun?

I wouldn't unscrew a springer. It will mess up big time.

Don't waste time or money putting a metal body on a HB2, fun to plink or for backyard stuff but thats about it(because of not to great power, range, accuracy). Also no, unless its a diff version than most, you cannot remove the grip just by removing the screws because its basically all one piece of plastic.

uhhh... he isn't trying to put a metal body on it.... he is trying to put it on the bottom of his rifle for a Masterkey look. Like so:
